The Maxxi, Rome

The scope of work comprised both artificial lighting and daylight design. The museum galleries include temporary exhibitions, permanent displays and ancillary facilities such as lecture theatres and restaurants. During daylight hours, many of the gallery and display spaces are illuminated with natural light that is carefully modulated to provide suitable environmental conditions for the exhibition space.
