Tülin Kori – Senior Designer

Tülin studied Architecture in Istanbul Technical University which included a two semester secondment to the Politecnico di Milano, where she discovered her passion for lighting design. Upon graduation, she practised as an architect in one of the leading architectural firms in Turkey and worked closely with international lighting designers on various projects, where she discovered her passion for lighting design. In 2011,Tülin moved to London and successfully completed the MSc in Light and Lighting at The Bartlett School at UCL with merit.

Tülin joined GIA Equation in 2012 and has since been involved with a wide range of projects including luxury residential properties, arts, hospitality, heritage, educational, commercial and public realm projects. Tülin is a keen advocate of sustainable design and the architectural lighting’s impact on energy efficiency. In 2013 during the PLDC conference in Copenhagen she presented her academic research on the impact of the environmental assessment schemes on architectural lighting design.
