180 Great Portland Street, London

180 Great Portland Street is an innovative and award-winning project which demonstrates the possibilities of maximising flexible space in an old Edwardian building, while retaining the best elements of the original building and providing first class comtemporary and flexible office space.

Sensitive architectural intervention and the discreet integration of ingenious structure and services solutions improved the occupational efficiency by 35%. The old light wells, buried deep in the building, now flood daylight across the floor plates.

GIA Equation were responsible for the lighting design of the entrance, reception area and façade accent lighting as part of the overall refurbishment.
