199 Bishopsgate, London
199 Bishopsgate is a sustainable refurbishment of a luxury 4,000 sq.m. office development in the ever evolving and vibrant Broadgate complex. GIA Equation provided the lighting design for the reception and all shell and core areas. The project achieved BREEAM 'Excellent' rating and an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of 'B' on completion, significantly improving the energy performance of the original building. The AJ Value Excellence Judges merited the improvements as vastly increasing flexibility and establishing the building's identity as a commercial palazzo, relocating the entrance "to its Bishopsgate frontage, displaying the high Modernist confidence of Skidmore Owings and Merrill's best work". - AJ - Value Excellence Judges.
